Why don't more women know about Perimenopause?
Women are suffering from the symptoms of Perimenopause and don't know it. Not even our doctors know the signs. Heart palpitations, itchy ears, dry eyes, dead inside , anxiety , depression, no libido, cant sleep, tired all the time, high cholesterol.

How do we NOT KNOW!? Women are suffering from the symptoms of Perimenopause and don't know it. Not even our doctors know the signs. Heart palpitations, itchy ears, dry eyes, dead inside , anxiety , depression, no libido, cant sleep, tired all the time, high cholesterol.
We deserve to know about our own bodies!
Just when I thought I yelled loud enough about perimenopause, I went away on a girls trip this weekend with a bunch of girls I didn't know and they all got to asking what do you do and I told them I speak about perimenopause and they said what's that?
A year ago I didn't know about perimenopause either but how is it possible that 50% of humans since the beginning of time have experienced this massive change in their bodies, in their brains and somehow we just still don't know about it.
I honestly thought that menopause was you stop having your period, you have some hot flashes and done. Sure would have been nice to know at 36 that when I stopped sleeping, my bones started hurting, I had no libido, I didn't want anybody to touch me, I was tired all the time, I felt like I was going freaking insane and my doctor said normal, WHAT?
How is it that our doctors don't even know about perimenopause?
Yeah, Perimenopause, it's a thing. It happens now around 35 up to 45 and then menopause. So we're basically just transforming from 35-65 years old, but no one's talking about it.
Women are just calling 911 because they think they're having a heart attack from their heart palpitations and then nobody can figure out that that has to do with their hormones.
Women are scratching their legs till they bleed, the inside of their ears are itching, their scalp is suddenly dry, they're switching out their shampoo, thinking they could just drink more water and the symptoms go on and on and the biggest one is that overall feeling of dead inside. You just think you gotta listen to more motivational books, nope.
This is perimenopause!
You need a community so you know you're not alone and you know you're not crazy and you need to optimize your hormones with a functional medicine doctor. It will change everything.
